Once an evaluation cycle has been created, administrators can add, move, or update faculty assignments within that cycle. Assignments determine which group a faculty member belongs to and which evaluation period applies to them.
Adding Faculty to a Cycle
Faculty must be added through a group — there is no way to add a faculty member outside of a group.
Navigate to Faculty Evaluations > Managed Evaluations.
Find the appropriate cycle and click View.
Select the group where the faculty member should belong.
On the Status tab (the default view), click Add Faculty.
Search for and select the faculty member.
Save changes.
Moving Faculty Between Groups
Faculty can be reassigned from one group to another at any time.
Locate the faculty member within their current group.
Open the Actions menu next to their name.
Select Change Group.
Choose the new group and confirm.
Removing Faculty from a Cycle
While a workflow is in progress, faculty cannot be fully removed from a cycle by department or institutional admins. Once a cycle is running, only the Scholarly team can unassign a faculty member.
Unassigning deletes all submissions associated with that faculty member in the cycle and requires confirmation.
